Spotlight on Sustainable Outdoor Lighting

As the sun dips below the horizon and twilight paints the sky, your backyard transforms. But why settle for the fading light? With 3D printed solar lights, you can craft the perfect ambiance for your patio, garden, or balcony, letting your creativity shine as brightly as the lights themselves.

One of the great things about solar lights is that they’re always working. They don’t rely on the power grid at all, so if there’s a power outage, your lights are unaffected. That’s especially nice if you’re worried about safety or security during a storm or other situation where the power might go out. Solar lighting is sustainable, reliable, and a great way to light up your outdoor space.

We’ve curated a list of 3D-printed models that harness the power of the sun. While the original designers used various filaments, we’ve created a starter guide specifically for filaments that can withstand the outdoors. Check out our list to find the perfect filament for your solar project!

Say goodbye to tangled wires and inconvenient post lighting! This innovative design offers a sleek, solar-powered post lighting system. Choose between the 70x70mm version for standard posts or the 90x90mm version for wider ones. Both versions eliminate the need for digging – they simply slip over your existing ground-inserted post lights. The designer has integrated solar panels directly into the design. No support structures are required during printing.

The benefits of solar post lights go beyond practicality. They cast a warm glow, improving your property’s curb appeal, and create a safe and inviting atmosphere.

This patio light uses a clever Joule Thief circuit to squeeze the most light out of a 6V solar panel and stores energy in two AA NiCad batteries (1000mAh each). The design easily attaches to a 32mm outdoor umbrella pole. The light itself shines from a classic 8oz Mason jar, housed in a sleek lampshade.

A solar light in this position provides soft, ambient lighting that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere in the evenings. This is particularly useful for dinners, gatherings, or relaxation after sunset, enhancing the overall enjoyment of your patio.

Solar lights can be installed in locations where grid electricity is not available, providing lighting solutions for areas that would otherwise be in darkness. This listing combines 3d printing with an IKEA Frasera drinking glass. The design features an optional “Milky Candle Insert” (printed in vase mode) that diffuses light from the LED bulb. Two 3D printed solar lantern models are offered, available in either 120mm or 150mm diameter.

Solar lanterns add aesthetic appeal and functionality to your garden, creating a more enjoyable outdoor space. Their soft light can highlight features of your garden design, like pathways, plants, or sculptures.

Solar lights produce no greenhouse gas emissions during operation. The use of solar energy reduces our carbon footprint and helps combat climate change. Solar lights create a warm and inviting atmosphere in the evenings, allowing you to enjoy your outdoor space even after sunset. Don’t miss out on summer nights! Extend your outdoor enjoyment with 3d printable solar lights.
